YUKON MINFILE 2005

The Database is currently available in two Microsoft Access formats:
i) Access2000 database file is to be used by users who already have Access 2000 loaded on their computers.
ii) Access2000_Runtime_Version is a runtime version of the database in Access 2000, and should be used by users who do not have any version of Microsoft Access loaded onto their computer.
The Access database provides the user with flexibility to search and process data contained within the database. In addition, the database is designed to allow the export of data to a GIS system.

The Access 2000 database is sold on one CD-ROM, along with a User's Manual, the separate text files as well as a set of maps showing mineral occurrence locations (see below).

The Text Files in Portable Document Format (PDF) include the major text files (Work History, Geology and References) in Yukon MINFILE. These are text files only. The files are organized by 1:250 000 scale NTS map areas. The files are also available in hard copy. Individual maps displaying occurrence locations are also available (see below). To view these PDF files you will need to download the Adobe Acrobat Viewer (see below).

The Mineral Occurrence Maps in Portable Document Format (PDF) are a complete set of 1:250 000 scale maps organized by the National Topographic System (NTS) and showing the location of individual mineral occurrences in Yukon MINFILE. Mineral occurrences are displayed with a variety of symbols indicating the type of occurrence or mineral deposit.
